Can't find root pasword

I've downloaded astaro distrib for education. It's 3 beta. As I understand the root's password must be set during the installation. But no questions about password were asked onle network configurations. I can’t in the manual any default login/password. So, I can’t  enter at the system….

ping myipaddress - is ok

What do I wrongly?

    After the install where you are asked all the network questions, the system says it must reboot to complete the install.

    Once it comes back up, https://ip.of.astaro.box
    It should work and come up with a screen prompting you to set all required passwords.

    Does the Astaro box reboot to a login: prompt ?

    I suspect if the page doesn't load you may have the flylead in the incorrect NIC.  Try switching which NIC you are trying to access the Astaro box through, then reload the web page.

    Kind of odd though that you can ping.
    Try unsetting proxy server in your web browser.

    Also, are you sure you are typing the correct IP ?

    Once passwords are set, you can login and complete the install.
