install question: about shell and exit

hi,
when I install asl2.016, I meet a strange question.

After I select English languagethe As install program ask me to do, the install program go into a shell, and give the following note: type "exit"
to continue install.

but after I type exit , shell just echo a exit,and do nothing else .

why?

    You can try select Germany language. I dont know why, but when I chose Germeny language, then  everything became ok.

    i had the same problem in 2.X, it seems to be gone in 3.2. If you choose German, you can change that later on the command line again, it's in the file /etc/console. BTW, it's not the language, it's the keyboard layout you choose.
