I can't ping the NIC, HELP ME!

Can you ping the NIC itself?  Pinging the Loopback only means your FW is up.  If 192.168.1.100 is up, is it connected to a switch or router?  If it is directly to a router, you need to make sure it is cross-over cable.

    Hi,
    I installed the Astaro 2.016 on the computer, there are two PII CPUs and two Intel NICs on the board.The install program said the NICs are all 82557s,but in fact, one is 82558 the other is 82559. I can set the IP addrss(192.168.1.100) on the first NIC, and ping loopback successful, but I can't ping the NIC on other computers in the network(192.168.1.0/24). I don't know what's wrong.Please help me. Thank you!  [:S]
