How to setup a cvs server on ASL?

I want to set up a proxy using cable modem to internet for our lab. It seems ASL is a good choice. However I also need to set up a cvs server on the proxy server so as to let both people from our lab and others who from internet and has account to access this server. It seems there are no rpm on ASL, is it possible to set up one?
   I am also wondering which version to install? 3.40 or 2.016? Can you give me some advice? when will the stable 3 version released? Is it possible to use ASL without registeration?(I don't need virus scan.)

    I´m not a official ASL staff, but maybe my comments help you:

    It depends on what you want... actual beta is 3.051 (updated 3.050) with a lot of new stuff and still some bugs. If you want to make sure, use stable 2.016 or wait till midth of mai. The latest I heard was that 3.x stable will be released then.

    I´m not sure about the licence terms. Just ask the official astaro site about it and tell them, what you need it for. For private use (home) it´s definetly free of charge (witout the virus scanner) and ypou don´t need a license term.

    First of all, a firewall is a firewall and nothing else. For security reasons you shouldn´t install anything else (that´s why no official rpm´s exist). If you need a cvs-server with access from outside, set up a seperate box and define rules and DNAT-definitions on ASL so that the cvs-box can be reached from outside.
