Hello I hoop that someone can help me...

I've got the following probleem.

Due to the ADSL connection i've had to put these two lines in a scrip en run them

Route add xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx dev eth1
route add default gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Now i want that that the lines are automaticly start whenever the server gets a restart or must reboot.

Whenever these lines are not started the Internet connection wil fail and i must activate them by hand.

I'm not that familier with Linux and i've searched but i cnat find the place where i can put these lines.

    Hi,

    don't know how to do this in asl, but the most "linuxes" have an "ip-up" and "ip-down" script in  /etc for this. hope it helps !

    If found the solution to my problem...

    I made a script in de /sbin/init.d and put a link in the /sbin/init.d/rc2.d with a Sxxxxxx name.

    It's not the perfect solution but its working fine if the entire system has to reboot.

    I must do it by hand if the firewall or something else is restarting some services...

    good morning,

    pay attension, you know these scripts run only when you are changing the runlevel. if your isp  or something else kill the connection you might in trouble, maybe. 
    No "ip-up/down" script ? 
    If my asl box would run i can take a look, but not up to now, ---waiting also for helping postings, but not realy much people here i think :-|

    which version do you use?

    using the latest beta shouldn't show this trouble...

    I'm not using the latest Beta. Just 2.016..
    And i need those two entry's due to the tweak i made to the Alcatel ADSL modem in Holland.. (KPN MxStream).
    Without them i can't reached the internet... I'm using SIP_SPOOFING in the alcatel .. That is. the Internet IP adres is the same as on my External Lan board....
