permission denied

I am wanting to install Astaro 2.016 on a Cobalt RaQ3i and in order to that I understand that the ROM needs to be flashed. I have downloaded the ISO image and the ROM file. I have put the rom file on the server and have tried to flash it with no luck when I run the program is comes back with "Permission denied" I also understand that you have to be Root user to perform the flash. I have gone to cobalts website and followed their instructions

By default the root password is the same as the admin password. When you reset the admin password through the GUI it will reset the

root password as well. 

To log in as the root user use the following procedure: 

Telnet to the machine and log in as the user admin. 

At the prompt type su - This will bring up a password prompt.

You then enter the same password as the admin username. 

The process should look something like this: 

[user@domain user]$ su - 

Password: 

[root@domain /root]#"
