Astaro security comes loaded with very few supplemental apps. For instance it would be great if it had rpm, lynx, ftp, and more filesystem types configured in the kernel. I had a heck of a time trying to do much of anything with the gpl version for these reasons. A few man pages would be great too. I know astaro is just trying to keep their distro lean, but there is a serious lack of functionality. I couldnt mount a floppy to get any data into or out of the system. I had to install a secondary hard drive with a pre setup ext2 filesystem before I could copy any confs, or install any software.
