Installation Hangs Before it begins

I am trying to install astaro and I get to step one where it asks for the Keyboard layout.. but then it goes to a bash screen and says type exit to continue.
I type exit and nothing happens?

Am I missing something?

    Hi together,

    try to select the German - z and y are interchanged
    and you find the @-sign with "right alt key+Q"

    I know that isn't a really good solution but maybe it works for the moment!

    Once installed you can try if the us keymap
    works on a installed system.
    Change /etc/console to "KBD:us.kmap" and run
    "loadkeys /usr/share/us.kmap"

    Hope that helps
