HDD could not partioned

Trying to install beta 3.031 on a brandnew Test-PC (ACERpowerSC, Celeron900MHz, SIS 630ET-Chipset, SMBIOS 2.3, 128MB PC-133 SDRAM, 20GB Ultra ATA/100 HDD, ...) I focused following problems:
- german keyboard driver not installed
- initial setting of passwords for SSH, SSL, Console, LILO)not asked for
- no interface could be connected althoug all 3 NICs (intel) were identified well.

Well, after this I decided to install Rel 2.0 but got the message "HDD could not partioned". (Tried 3 times with same result.)

Question: Did somebody focused similar problems or knows about trouble with certain Chipsets/BOIS-Versions/Ultra-HDD/etc. ???
