After Install - 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40

I ahev The same Problem As in a previous Post only he has 01 01 01 01......

I have tryed Everything that was said in that post but it dont help......

I Cheked The Hardisk Settings, IDE cable, Tryed to change my nic's,Removed all partitons and my MBR... I dont know what else to Try....

If you have seen this prob. before ore know the solution, Plz take the time to write it in this Post :-)THX!

Hello,

"40" means a media problem (seek failure). I'm afraid, your HD is corrupt :|

Hello!...
I have found The source of the problem, My Mainboard. Probably the IDE Controller Since "40" was disk seek faliure.....
I Used The same disk and installed asl on another pc.....it Works Whoho! [:)]

Now i have another problem.... Me Beeing a Linux newbie i have no idea who to instal the DHCP Package..... Well anyways ASL ROX!
