installation hangs on step8

Hi,

installing asl 2.0 on a Intel bx with PIII 700 MHz (Siemens B170) with a IBM DTLA 307030, a ATI Rage 128 Pro AGP and three Realtek 8139 (LevelOne) hang on step8 from 9 (lilo boot password - reenter). I was asked for reenterinh the lilo boot password, typed & pressed enter. Then, the installation stopped.
What can i do ?

    What exactly does this mean?  I have the same problem and have tried several passwords.  Can anyone enlighten me?

    Did you choose the free licence install by any chance?  I had exactly the same problem so I selected the full install option, agreed to the licensing restrictions and hey presto all works ok.  I have done this everytime I have installed Astaro as it doesnt seem to work otherwise? 

    In usage this doesnt seem to affect functionaity in any way other than having an "unregistered version" message on the admin login screen.  And of course the virus plugin wont work unless you register via the admin interface.
