German Keyboard Layout

Hi!

I'm just trying to install ASL-2.0 on a small, embedded device (set top box) which has got a german keyboard (via IR).
When i choose the correct (ie. german) keyboard layout form the list during installation i'm not able to use the "@" key!?
This is quiet unfortunate because of this i'm not able to complete installation at all because when i'm supposed to give a correct email-address for the admin i cannot enter it...
I might add that this box works fine (including the keyboard) with smoothwall and redhat!
