Installation hangs after entering passwords

Hi,

i'm using astaro on a pyramid astaro firewall 1HE, which came with astaro preinstalled. After a harddisk fault, i had to exchange the disk. When i try to install astaro 2.016 again, the installation hangs in step 8 after entering the kernel password.
What can I do?

Try entering a password that has no special characters -> 0-9 and A-Z.

I remember seeing this problem on this site before.

Are there any known problems using passwords, that have special characters, after installation?
