What do I put for default gateway

I am trying to install astaro on a server that has three NIC (internal, Internet, DMZ).  During the installation process, I use 192.168.1.1 as my IP for my server (since this will be the gateway for my internal workstation to get out of its own network.  I figure I leave the default gateway blank, but it wouldn't let me.  What Ip address should I use for the default gateway during installation? (the router IP maybe?)

Also, does it matter if I choice to use the Internet IP (public IP) for my first NIC during the installation process, or should I stick with using my Internal LAN IP first?

    The gateway is in the zone you chose to use but you can not use the routers ip in this case 1.2.3.4
    Pls Correct me if i wrong
