Unable to install - Uncorrectable error

Hi,

I'm unable to install ASL 2.0. During the copying of the files I get the following error message continuously on my screen:

DriveReady SeekComplete error (and then a bunch of numbers (sectors, blocks). Also the following error is listed: HDA: Dma_Intr - uncorrectable error.

Any ideas what might cause this. Is a Dell P100c with a WD 22500 IDE Harddisk

I had simalar problems, turned out my HDD had to many bad sectors to work w/ linux. It works with windows.

After replacing the drive setup ran smooth.
