Q - support for Adaptec ADA6944

Hi all,

does anyone know if the Adaptec 4 port ADA6944 nic is, or will be supported?

I checked the hardware list, and didn't see it there, but would be keen to know if it's likely to be supported in future.

LT,

ask adaptec which driver to use on a linux 2.4xx
system - if you get back the starfire.o it
should work.

Thanks for that, I'm checking now.

I've also been pointed at some D/Link 4 port card - I'm looking for the model now, so I can check the chipset/support.

Following up on my own posts:

The 4 port D/Link card is a DFE-570TX.
I couldn't find any mention of chipset on the D/Link website, and could only find mention of Windows drivers.

Does anyone know if the card has linux support, and is supported in the Astaro distribution?
