Downloaded ASL 2 asl-2_016.iso)and burned to CD.
Checksum OK.
CD boots and then gives an error:
" Wierd Error. No CD or installation media found"
system hangs.
Hardware is:
Compaq PIII 550, 192MB RAM, 8 GB IDE HDD, Creative CDROM.
I am installing ASL on this system just to check it out before installing on our server.
This system does not have 2 Network cards but has only 1:
3Com Etherlink XL 10/100 PCI TX NIC (3C905B-TX)
First time this happened I checked out this forum and found that my CD had a different Checksum. Burnt the CD again at slow speed (2X) and did a checksum again and found it to be correct.
[All file and directory names are in uppercase on the CD while they are in lowercase in the ISO download image (as shown in windows explorer)]
Thanks in advance for your help.
