ASL 2.016 and Cobalt raq

I have downloaded the ASL image and burnt it.
What dod i do next, I have heard of a flash update. Is it it neccesary for 2.016? Do I need to have installed ASL on the cobalt to have the 2.06 installed?

    Hi master t,

    yes - you have to flash the eeprom befor install ASL 2.0X for Sun Cobalt!!!
     
    After this (hopefully successfull) step, you install the ASL ISO like the original Sun Cobalt software:
    Boot a single PC with the burned CD (nothing on this PC will be changed!) and connect the RaQ with a crossover cable to the PC NIC. Press 'S' while the RaQ is booting and select 'boot from Net' - follow the instructions showing on the PC screen and watch the LCD status messages on the RaQ - thats all.

    I'm curious about a couple of things before i accidently hose my Raq.  Once I upgrade the flash and load the 2.016 iso, will it be the same Cobalt OS/Raq server? What are the RAR files I also grabbed? Is there any further documentation, like a step by step for installing? Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

    there and there are docus about installation on PC and Sun Cobalt....
