Install problem "Sector seek" error?

Hi, been trying to install Astaro to test it recently. I thought I had burnt a bad ISO at first but have done another since with same error.
If I choose the language as US English, I get a screen full of errors about "Sector seek" problem or similar, however if I choose any other language it continues?
Anybody else seen this one?

    Hello Mike,

    this problem is already known, but unfortunately we can't reproduce it in our test lab. We assume a bug in mkisofs and/or incompatibility with burning software. Could you provide some additional information?

    - which burning sowtware and settings did you use?
    - which CD burner?
    - which CD-RW media?

    I would like to have your burned CD too, you could send it (if you want, of cause [:)] to our Europe HQ

    Hi Dennis, I have re-written the CD with a different package and it is all fine now.
    I was using Nero 5.0.2.4 with a Yamaha CRW2100E,
    media may not be the best but not had failures in the past. I used the Nero settings as described in the document section.
    I have the CD here ready to go to you if you still want it sent?

    Hi Mike,

    did I correct understand you: you used an another CD-R media and it was OK? (sorry, I'm not a native english speaker).

    If you send us your corrupted CD, Astaro will pay for delivery.

    Hi Dennis,

    No, I used same media, but different CDR software. It worked with Fireburner but failed with Nero.

    CD should be on its way to you.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem when I burned the ISO
    image with NERO (Don't remember now the version
    number).

    Burned again with the old Easy CD Creator 4 and
    it worked just fine.

    It seems that Nero isn' possible to properly burn ISO Images created by mkisofs. We'll include a small quick&dirty workaround for next ASL versions. Unfortunately, we cannot do more, you Nero users should make pressure on Nero manufacturers to fix this problem  [;)]
