NIC issues after install

Just installed 2.0 and tried to use webadmin.  No go.  Looks like pings fail as well both ways.  Looking at an ifconfig on the Astaro box shows TX packets with all errors (same for loopback).  IP addresses etc are all correct. Cabling is correct as well. I noticed no errors during install but it did not identify my nic cards as what they were.  I am using Netgear FA310 or FA311 (can't remember).  Are these nics supported or did i just screw up somewhere along the way?  TIA for the help!!

    Hi Eagle,
    I'dont know if your netcards are supported(take a 
    look at docs.astaro.org) but,as ASL manual says, 
    you can't ping the firewall and the extern if you
    dont start the service "ICMP on firewall".
    For the other problem,open the admin,did you 
    comfigure the IP addres in your client machine 
    in right way?
    N.B.:the form is https://your internal nic IP,
    in your client mach.:
    your private IP
    net mask
    as default gateway the same IP of your open admin
    request(https and not http).

    Thanks for the link to docs.astaro.org.  I'll cruise thru there.  It looks like my nics should be supported although they don't show up on the officially supported cards list. 

    IP's, subnets are correct and i'm using https.  I'm using a crossover cable to directly connect the workstation to the firewall.  I have link lights and see the lights blip when i ping or make https requests, so i think i'm fine there.  I believe i need to do something further on the Astaro side to correct the errors i see.

    Hi Eagle,
    so wath can I say,if you can, try to reinstall
    ASL and look if you encounter this behaviour
    (I know is strong resolution but I think that
    every things should go in a right way).
