Following the instructions in the announcment of updating 1.811 to 2, all was fine. However after the up2date was complete, I was on version 2.000.
I think you forgot to mention that /etc/up2date/aus.conf needs to be changed back afterwards so that the normal 2.xxx up2dates can be received and applied.
Also the option to choose the up2date server has gone now anyway, making it even harder.
