Up2Date w/o direct Internet connection

Is there any plans to support Up2Date functionality w/o direct Internet connection? There are situations when Astaro can be used in large private 10.* networks to do firewall and VPN. I suspect, some tricks with tcpdump and NAT on port 222 will do the job, but it will be nice to see built-in support for this in distribution.
Also, I saw "Import System Up2Dates" functionality in recent beta and as I understand there will be updates provided in a form of a binary file? Maybe simple Perl script that use LWP::UserAgent that can do "$ up2date.pl update.dat fw1-ip fw2-ip..."?

    There is a solution to this... 

    What you need to do is to have a firewall on the Internet... Then you start up2date, and at the same time look where the files are being saved to (/var/restore) from memory... 

    What I do is cp all the .tar.gpg (I think that is the extension) files to the directory above whilst the download is happening. When it finishes it will uncomress the files and delete them... 

    So then copy the copied files to your non-internet machines and run up2date. This works well... I do it because I pay for downloads and I am on dialup. This makes it good to not need to download all the time if I reinstall
