Install Problem

Hello all,

I've been trying to get Astaro install for a few days now.  I really need to get a solution running and Astaro looks like a good option but I cannot test it.

I first tried 2.1 since I would really like the bandwidth managment included but I could not get it installed so I figure I'd try 2.0 to get it going and test it out.

Both 2.1 and 2.0 lock at the same point in the install.  At the point of asking for passwords.  I enter and confirm each password and after I confirm the lilo password I still see the screen but the cursor moves to the bottom of the screen and just blinks.

I cannot figure out what is happening I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

    I have had similar problems during the install process of any "2.xxx" version of ASL. Try burning the CD at a lower speed (1x) - I have an 8x burner and if I burn the CD at 8x I get half way through the install and it bombs out for on reason or another - If I burn the same ISO at 1x it works fine......   [;)]
