Installation / Update of new build or version

Of course Up2Date will update your system to the new version of software. If not, you can always pop in the CDROM and install it from scratch and then restore the config.

What do I do, if I need to update the new version of the software (like 2.100 which is not available for Up2Date, but requires the CDROM install) on the machine that does not have the CDROM, like and appliance.

Help.

    I have installed ASL on such an appliance...

    The answer is to plug a CD-ROM in as a secondary IDE, and hope that works. If not, the answer is to find a PC with the same number of network cards with a CD-ROM and install on there...

    I have done both.

    Sorry, I am not making myself clear.  I CAN put the CDROM on that machine to upgrade the software, but I don't want to and trying to find another way to install the software without CDROM access.  This would mean to open up a machine to install a CDROM, but I do not and can not do this after the pc is at customer site, so I need to find another way to install the software, like possiboy upload it to the pc or else, but I don't know, so I am asking.
