Support for Intel PRO/1000 F Gigabit Adapter?

we would like to use the IntelRegistered PRO/1000 F Gigabit Adapter with 802.1Q-Tagging on our
backbone. For this the Intel driver for
Linux creates multiple virtual adapters
connected to each subnet. is this supported?

    I am sorry to tell, but VLAN support isn't available yet.
    We support the Intel® PRO/1000 F Gigabit Adapter but without VLAN Funktionality.

    We are thinking about adding it to the next major release.
