sorry but i can't confirm this error.... For further checks i need cat /etc/wfe/conf/up2datedata, the running version and you initial install version (1.811 or 2.000). Thx for your reports and cooperation!
This may seem like a simplistic suggestion, but since it still seems unresolved-
I noticed some flacky behavior using Konquerer (The KDE installed browser) when working with the web interface. Switching to Mozilla (or Netscape) resolved my problem- just a thought...
I too have noticed this problem, you press the enable button but the indicator stays red & black. After reading the last response from Markus Hennig I had a look at /etc/wfe/conf/up2datedata and the PatternStatus: line was empty, so I edited it and entered an (which I guessed was on). Refreshing the page showed the indicator green & black and all was ok.
