ASL2.0 SCSI Installation --> KMOD error

I want to install ASL2.0 on a PII with a
SCSI Disk. The first steps are going well.
But after entering all passwords, i receive
a KMOD error - and nothing occurs. I can only
restart the PC and try again... the same result.

Please help! Thanks!

    Hi Markus,
    my PC has the following HW:
    - PII 200MHz Pro
    - 64MB
    - SCSI Adapter Adaptec AHA-2940UW
    - SCSI Harddisk IBM DNES 9.1GB
    - SCSI internal Iomega Zip Drive (can that be a problem?)

    I have done the following:
    - Boot from floppy
    - all functioned up to the password input
    - after password input the error message
    KMOD failure: failed to execute....
    appeared

    If it is necessary i can post the exact the
    error message this evening (europe time), because this is a firewall for home use

    OK, here is the exact error message:

    kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-3, errno = 2

    I hope that is useful...

    i had the same message but the shell comes back and the reboot was sucessfull. The system is working.

    HW: 2941UW (Advance) // IBM DCAS-34330 // AMD K6-2/400 // 128 MB RAM // IDE-CDROM
