Connections problems

After a complete and succesfull installation of Astaro 2.0, i have a problem tot connect with a browser to the astaro pc.

This is the coniguration of the astaro pc:
IP: 192.168.100.1
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
default GW: 192.168.100.100

the client pc has IP: 192.168.100.50

i can't ping the Astaro from the client.

Hi,

Sure you have the right interface connected to the network?

If you login on the asl console can you ping your gateway or any other computer on the network?

Yes,

I tried serveral interfaces (3com 3c905B). But i can't ping any pc in the same network.
The cable and the ethernet card are allright.

Maybe stupid question .. are the 3com cards set on Plug & play or manualy configured ???

Had some problem with 3com and Linux before. Setting the cards manualy was always the solution for me... [:)]

Did you try to ping from the Astaro box as well ???
