Problem installing GNU-only version

I've been experimenting with Astaro Security Linux 2.0 for a while, but haven't been able to install the GNU-only configuration.

The normal version installs fine, but despite several attempts with the same settings, the installation program hangs at the end when I opt to install only the GNU software.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Just saw your post after sending a similar one of my own. It would seem something is brokenwith the GNU install...

where does the GNU only install stopping/hanging (whats the last output)?

Right at the end, just after you've entered the LILO passwords, at the stage where the normal version asks you to eject the CD and reboot. The LILO dialogue stays on the screen and you can type carriage returns to scroll the screen up, but to all intents and purposes the installer hangs.
