Hello there.
I'm considering using ASL to upgrade our firewall needs - it looks comprehensive and thorough. However, I can't see how we can set up a firewall on a server that effectively contains our DMZ (we use the same box as Webserver, firewall, mail transport etc). Am I missing a trick here? [:S]
Looking through the install manual, it says that you install by booting from the CD (created from asl-2.0.iso). Surely this will kill the existing installation of Red Hat 7.0.
It looks as though ASL is designed to be running on a physically separate server only. Is this true? If not how do we go about setting up ASL with the existing OS? I'm not expecting a full, blow-by-blow explanation here, but a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Mal Smith.
