Interface definition

Hi,
ive added an interface eth0:1.
It does not appear in the Webadmin.
Is there any way to include this virtual Interface?

Hi Philipp,

if you manually added it in the shell,
Webadmin cannot know about your virtual
Interface, because it reads only from config
files. I assume that you are using version

Hi,

is there any way to update from 1.8.xx to 1.9.xx?
The up2date service does not allow the automatic upgrade.

They said it will be possible only tu upgrade to a 2.XXX from 1.8XX, anyway, since I was in need of IP aliases myself I downloaded 1.940, made a backup of the config for 1.824, then installed 1.940 and restored the config. All of this without any problems.
