keyboard problem in 1.940 installation

I'm trying to upgrade a 1.824 installation with just burned 1.940 cdrom; If I use the keyboard loyout 1 (US) it work as expected, while it throws me at a bash prompt if I try to use mine (IT). Is that a bug or that's me bugged??

It's a known bug, it will be fixed in the next release.

ok thank you. anyway, is there a place one can check a list of known bugs w/o bothering??
