2.0beta2-01.iso don´t boot

I download asl-1.920.iso.gz, descompress it using winzip to asl-1.920.iso folder, and rename the file 2.0beta2-01.img to .iso
The md5sum for the iso.gz file is ok.
I don´t have the sum for the .iso file
I burned the cd and appear to be ok.
The system where i want to install don´t support boot from cd, so i make the booteable disk.
When try to boot i get loading image.gz and loading bzimage, the get ready and don´t boot.
Is there any issue reported ?
I did something wrong ?

    Hy Asrael,

    how did you burned the CD ?
    Did you read the hints before ?
    Maybe there is a problem with your burning software (wromg parameter etc.)

    What kind of hardware do you use ?
    Does it meet the Hardware Requirements ?

    Yes, i check the hardware requirements, the target system is a P166 no MMX, 64 Mb, 2 Nics, HD Seageate 3,2 Gb.
    Nothing extrange and has runned others linux like RH or Mandrake.
    About the burning soft i used Easy CD Creator over W2K, because, that software don't support burn from .img files, i renamed to .iso
    The final cd appear to be ok.
    May i get some of the burning software that recommend in the burn-howto ???.

    Sorry for that question, it was asked so many times before ....

    ... when you watch the CD in your W2K environment, what do you see ?

    The .iso file or the files and directories ?

    For my own i also got problems with WinOnCD and Easy CD Creator. After using CDRWin with the parameters from the HowTo, everything worked fine.
    (But maybe i'm too stupid for the other programs     )

    I understand, after burn the cdrom i saw the content of the ASL (not the iso file). I could make the boot disk from there.

    If you say that had troubles with easy cd creator i will try with other software.

    Well, i think that i found some problem.
    Today i download asl 1.9.40, burn again (this time with nero), make the boot disk and the same problem appear on the target system.
    So, i tried boot cds (from yesterday and today) in other system, with same boot disk and works fine !!!! but this system has scsi cdrom.
    So, i think the problem is some hardware in the P166 system. It has a Creative 52Xmx cd reader.
    I don´t understand why boot fine in the scsi system and don´t boot in the IDE system.
    Other linux distributions like RH or Mandrake boot fine in that systems.
    Please help with some idea.

    This erally seems to be a hardware problem with your system.
    A BIOS upgrade could help, but i'm not sure.
    It could also be a specific problem with your board, the chipset or anything else.

    Sorry, i think i can't help you here.
    Maybe the Astaro guys have a tip for you.

    yes, i have other one, but it is too much power for a home ADSL gateway :-).
    For that i would use my old P166, that it is good enought for a gateway / firewall and NAT
    server.
    If some Astaro guy read this post and know how solve this issue please tell me.
