Token Ring NICs

Hi everyone !

I'm new on this board, and first of all, i wanted to introduce my self (a little) ...

I live in Austria, working as SysAdmin for a sw-company with about 30 employees.

Today i installed astaro (1.811), but i'm having several problems with it:

1. Aliasing: already read the posts, got my workarounds, status at 1.824 ?

2. Token-Ring NICs: already read the posts, no solution ahead, status at 1.824 ?

    comment to your second question:

    Token-Ring is not supported today and seem not to be supported in future.

    On my last request to the astaro guys they told my that there is no demand for that, so the implementation is too much work.
    (Normally you find TR only in existing networks, new networks will only be Ethernet)

    You should use an old pc with both type of cards (Token-Ring and Ethernet) and one of the available 'Linuy-on-a-disk' distributions, to get a Low-Cost-Router.

    For myself i also took an Ethernet-Card in my Server and use him as Router-Daemon.
