ASL on COBALT

Hi,

working with ASL on COBALT seems to be a little bit tricky. Am i right, when i think that are to many differences between standard intel ASL and ASL running on COBALT? For Example when i try to install an VPN with PPTP (we are using MS 98 SE) there is no choice, because there is no 2.xxx Version available for me.

    Hi Gerhard,

    you are right.

    At the moment there are differences between the Cobalt and the PC distribution.
    As you can see in the announcement today, the Cobalt had just arrived at 1.802.

    The Astaro guys told me that in future (when ?) the two versions will merge together to one distribution.
    I hope/think it will be with the final release of 2.0, which should arrive in the next days !?!    [;)] 

    I have the same problem because i need Road Warrior support on Cobalt.

    hi guys,

    in attention to the posting above i would like to ask you for the support of the cobalt boxes.

    will they also be available to come with the final 2.0 update ?

    one of my customers has employees flying around the world and they are waiting urgently for the road warrior support     

    please give me some information about your plannings.

    Cobalt release 1.8x has the same features
    than the pc-version. Don`t look too much at the version   [:)] 
    PPTP support is available in the beta version of ASL 1.9x available only for pc, it will be also available
    in the release version of the cobalt software
