up2date 1.917?

Hi,

I don´t like to be wise guy but I thought version 1.9 would be a beta - how can it be that up2date tried to download 1.917?

I recognized this today when I set up a new box:

Can anybody tell me if I´m missing something here?

  • hi jens,

no you won't have to pay again. 2.0 is a free upgrade for all licensed users.

When 2.0 is released, there will be an Up2Date package which will update 1.8xx -> 2.0xx straight, without touching the 1.9xx beta state.

The "chain" of Up2Date packages has a wanted "gap" at the moment to prevent 1.8xx installations from auto-upgrading to 1.9xx.
