I've been away and stupidly forgot the admin passwd. I do have a backup file I created a little while ago. What are my options to change or figure out the admin passwd?
In that case I think you only have one option... And it certainly involves down time. That is to break into your system. You need to remove the HDD and place it into another LINUX box as the secondary drive.
Then you need to edit the file /etc/shadow [ON THIS HDD... it will be something like /mnt/etc/shadow when you mount it], and remove the password string on loginuser. Do not remove anything other than the password :-)
That is the root and loginuser password.
The admin password is kept in /etc/wfe/conf/loginpwd
I think this is the same encryption as the other passwords. You will need to play with this one...
Once you have changed the login password (and root) you can then put the HDD back and hack the admin one
