Problem with up2date

Hi, I am getting the following message when I run the up2date service. Any suggestions would be great.

    Eventually found the link to use the touch command and tried it but then got the following message, seems as though I am going in circles.

    This is a Error. You should not be here ....
    Please retry the operation and contact your vendor
    Wrong SID check!
