SelfMonitoring...

hi all, hope you all had a nice weekend  i know i did. but anyways onto the issue.
i got back over the nice weekend just to have over 2000 messages in my inbox regarding selfmonitoring of my astaro box. here is the message.

i understand these are 2 different processes, but what would make them start giving me all these messages now, considering that the machine has been running in place for 3 days prior to that.

and also, just what is the self monitoring supposed to do, flood me and tell me something is broke? or fix it, and let me know it resolved the issue?

so between the 1st message, and the 2+k in the middle of that and the last one, then the accouting.sh message, the rest of the weekend was quiet until the box rebooted itself monday at 2pm, so the email goes.
