Hi,

is it possible to upgrade the ram from SG105 rev.1 2GB to 4GB?

Yes :-) you need an SO-DIMM for that, but remember: this is unsupported.

Thanks :) Do you know if it is possible to install the xg appliance with 2GB on the sg105?

I think 2 GB isn't working for the XG, but I did not test this. Minimum is 4GB AFAIK.

Maybe somebody has more info on this?

Hallo,

If this is an SG with a paid license, opening the case of the box will void the warranty, so the answer is, "Yes, but..."
