Empfängerverifizierung SMTP Einstellung

Guten Morgen,

eine Frage zur SMTP Einstellung Empfänger verifizieren:

es gibt die Auswahl: aus, mit Active Directory und mit Serveranfrage.

Option 1 und 2 ist klar aber was ist mit Serveranfrage gemeint? Gegen welchen Server wird hier geprüft?
Die Hilfe gibt nicht viel her:

Mit Serveranfrage: Es wird eine Anfrage an den Server geschickt, um den Empfänger zu verifizieren.

wird hierdurch der Mailserver abgefragt ob die Adresse exisitert? oder was ist damit gemeint?

Es wird geprüft, ob der Mailserver die E-Mail annehmen würde. Ist wie beim sender verify (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callback_verification).

Hallo, ich habe nun einen Test gemacht mit der Option Empfängerverifizierung im Active Directory. Hierzu habe ich unter Definitionen den AD Server angegeben und ein Login hinterlegt. Der Test für den Connect ist in Ordnung, jedoch nimmt die Sophos keine Mails mehr an mit aktivierter AD Verifizierung. Meldung User nicht bekannt. Jemand eine Idee woran das liegt?
