UTM 9.401-11: permanent hohe +99% CPU Last, broker.sophos.com nicht erreichbar, EndpointClients offline

Hallo,


pünktlich nach dem Upgrade auf 9.401-11 gibt es wohl ein Problem mit der CPU-Last im Zusammenhang mit aktivierter Webprotection für Endpoint Clients.

Das Problem scheint bereits hier schon mal angeschnitten worden zu sein: https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/f/52/t/76244

Neu ist jetzt scheinbar noch das alle Endpoint Clients unter "Endpoint Protection" jetzt nicht mehr gefunden werden bzw. als offline angezeigt werden.

Gibt es hierzu bereits Lösungsvorschläge/Workarounds oder ist die nächste Firmware schon kurz vor dem ausrollen?

  • Die Endpoints sind auch in 9.355 alle offline.. ebenso wird liveconnect als disabled angezeigt.

    Wieder ein typisches Sophos Problem..


    CPU-Last ist aber neu.. das ist auf meinem Cluster nicht (9.355) und auch nicht auf der single-firewall (9.401-11)..

    Hi, Jacques, and welcome to the UTM Community!

    Sometimes, there's a glitch in the Up2Date process.  First, try restoring the backup that was made before Up2Dating.  If that doesn't work, try a reboot.

    Still having the problem?  Login at the command line and run top to see what the offending process is.  If PostgreSQL is the culprit, contact Sophos Support to have them rebuild your data bases.   If you can't tell, press > to change the sort order to memory usage.  If that still gives you no idea, tell us the values in %sy, %wa, Mem total and Mem free.
