DNS richtig einstellen

Hallo,

ich habe meine UTM soeben installiert und möchte diese nun richtig für mein Netz konfigurieren.

Es befindet sich im internen Netzwerk ein Windows 2012 Server als Domänen Controller. Auf diesem läuft daher der DNS Dienst.

Wie muss ich nun meine UTM und den Server einrichten, damit die DNS Auflösung richtig funktioniert?

Der Server hat bei mir die IP 10.1.1.2 und die UTM 10.1.1.1

Soll ich am DC eine Weiterleitung auf die UTM einrichten oder würdet Ihr das anders machen?

Der DHCP Dienst sollte auf der UTM verwendet werden.

    Für das interne Netz sollte der DC der DNS und der DHCP Server sein. Als Forwarder sollte auf dem DC die UTM eingetragen sein. Die UTM sollte in diesem DNS natürlich mit A-RR und PTR-RR gepflegt sein.

    Auf der UTM muss folglich der DC berechtigt sein, Abfragen an den DNS Server der UTM stellen zu dürfen. Zusätzlich sollten für die interne Domain und dem internen Subnet request routen auf den DC verweisen.

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    That KB article #120283 was copied from my DNS best practice post about two years ago, so I would recommend my post or the article by K.N.  I don't know if the person that copied #120283 has kept up with the improvements I've made due to others' observations, questions and suggestions.  My post correctly gives attribution to those that have helped me with its content.
