Backup von UTM 9.3 auf UTM 9.4 einspielen

Hi,

hat jemand schon Erfahrung damit ob ein Backup von UTM 9.3 auf UTM 9.4 problemfrei eingespielt werden kann? Ich hab keine grosse Lust alles neu einstellen zu müssen.

    Hi, Matze, and welcome to the UTM Community! (Sorry, My German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(]

    There are two answers to your question:

    1. There is an Up2Date path to 9.4 from 9.3, so you should not need to re-install from ISO.
    2. You can always restore a backup to a newer version (e.g., 9.355 to 9.400).  You should never attempt to restore a newer backup to an older version.

    Whether 9.4 works well enough to put into production is a question for others to answer.

    Hi,

    Danke für die Info. Habs mir schon fast gedacht das es so funktioniert. War mir nur nicht Sicher und leider auch nicht scharf drauf mein gut funktionierendes System abzuschiessen.
