VDSL PPPoE Einwahl an Alice IAD 7570 vDSL funktioniert nicht

Hallo zusammen, 

wie die Überschrift ja schon aussagt, versuche ich die (kastrierte) Fritzbox mit HanseNet-Firmware aka "Alice IAD 7570 vDSL" (FW 81.04.92w) als reines Modem zu nutzen, weil das Port Forwarding nicht wirklich sauber funktioniert. 
Dafür habe ich auf der 7570 die Logindaten verändert - leider kann man sie nicht einfach weglassen - und "PPoE Pass Through" aktiviert. 
Auf der Astaroseite habe ich die vorherige Netzwerkeinstellung der Verbindung auf 
"DSL PPPoE" geändert, 
VDSL angehackt, 
Standard-GW angehackt, wobei ich hier keine IP einstellen kann...?! 
Benutzernamen und Kennwort eingestellt, wie es sein sollte, 
MTU: 1476, was ja automatisch durch das Anhaken von VDSL passiert, 
und Asymmetrisch angehakt. 

Leider kommt der Connect nicht zustande. 
Das PPoE LOG sagt:

Was ich etwas merkwürdig finde, dass die MTU bemängelt wird, wobei das die Vorgabe der Astaro ist. 
Ich habe auch schon 1492 und 1500 probiert, aber das macht keinen Unterschied. 

Die Astaro ist eine Astaro Security Gateway v7.5.11 (mit v7.5.10 hat es auch nicht geklappt) 

Ich glaube ja fast, dass es an dem blöden Modem/Router liegt, aber vielleicht hat das ja jemand von euch schon hinbekommen oder eine Idee für mich.

    Hallo Christian, 

    dass mit dem VDSL weglassen hatte ich auch schon gelesen, lies sich aber letztens nicht mehr abhaken, es wurde immer wieder automatisch gesetzt beim Speichern. 
    Jetzt hat es allerdings funktioniert! Vielleicht hat das Update (7.511) dazu beigesteuert. 

    Ich bekomme im Livelog jetzt jede Menge wilde Informationen, die ich allerdings nicht so ganz zuordnen kann. 
    Besonders, wenn ich die MTU verändere, wobei ich die Rückmeldung bekomme, dass angeblich dauerhaft 1476 eingestellt wäre. 
    Vielleicht weiß jemand von euch genauer, was da im Detail passiert.

    Die Standardeinstellung als ich die Schnittstelle auf PPPoE verändert habe (ohne VDSL anzuhaken): MTU 1492, Wiedereinwahl: 60sec

    Jede weitere Einwahl erhöht den Wert +1 bei "ASG pppd-pppoe[3****]: using channel"

    Dann habe ich mal auf MTU 1500 gewechselt

    Auch hier wird der "using channel" weiterhin erhöht.

    Danach habe ich dann noch mal auf MTU 1476 gewechselt, wieder mit neuen Ergebnissen.

    Das Ergebnis ist mit dem LOG für MTU 1492 ziemlich identisch, glaub ich. 

    Also, wer dazu mehr sagen kann, darf mich gerne erleuchten. [:)]
