Astaro Security Gateway 120 Rev 1

Hallo zusammen,
ich überlege mir ob ich mir die o.g. ASG zulegen soll.
Kann man auf dieser Hardware die neue Version 8 installieren ?
(ist für mich privat)

Wie gesagt es scheint noch eine alte Hardware zu sein ( Rev 1 )
Reicht die aus ?

Hallo Juppy,

ich habe eine ASG120 Rev.1 mit 512MB Ram und der Version 8 installiert. Sobald WEB Security und Dual Virenscan aktiviert ist, wird sie bei mir sehr langsam (TimeOut). Sie beginnt dann die SWAP Partion zu nutzen, das macht sie langsam.

Im Moment habe ich die V8 auf einem Inten Atom N230 mit 2 GB Ram und einer 4 Port Netzwerkkarte installiert.

Im letzten Jahr wurden verschiedene Hardware Konfigurationen diskutiert:
