Update V7 -> V8 auf ASG425

Laut Blog ASG V8 Appliance Upgrade Date soll es möglich sein, direkt von der 7-er Version nach V8.002 upzudaten.

Ich erhalte allerdings folgende Fehlermeldung:

Was nun? Einerseits wird gesagt, man könnte mit der V8.002 einfach von V7 updaten und wenn man´s versucht, gibt´s eins auf die Finger. 
Oder hat das was mit dem soft-release zu tun?

    Hier nochmal ein Auszug aus dem Blog-Post

    Full distribution of 8.002 is scheduled for September 30th. After 8.002 is made available, 7.508 will then be issued. Soft-release will be on September 30th, with Up2Date generally available on approximately October 7th. This release, (amongst other things), will add the one-touch upgrade to V8 for all ASG V7 Hardware Appliance installations. More information will follow as the Up2Date packages are made available. 


    Frühestens ist also am 30.09 ein Upgrade möglich!!

    Sorry, das sehe ich anders:

    Installiert werden soll also 8.002

    Hier sagt das System: Verlangt wird V8.001, aktuelle Version ist 7.507

    Zu klären wäre jetzt, worin der Unterschied zwischen der soft-release vom 16.09. und der "Full-distribution", die am 30.09. kommen soll, liegt.

    okay also: Jedes "normale" Update Paket für die Astaro ist ein inkrementelles Update. Das heisst es benötigt immer die Vorversion um es Installieren zu können. Bei deinem Upgrade von V7 auf V8 wird es ein eigenes nur dafür taugliches Update Paket geben, dass mit der Version 7.508 freigeschalten wird. 
    Mit anderen Worten: Gegen 30.09 wird auf den Servern von Astaro das Paket 7.508 zur Verfügung stehen, das kannst du manuell herunterladen und auf deiner Astaro einspielen, bzw wird es von allein auf der Astaro zur Verfügung stehen (mit einigen Tagen Verzögerung)

    Erst ab dann hast du einen Button in der Astaro der ein One-Touch Update zulässt!


    Das Paket welches du hier versucht zu Installieren ist für Astaros die bereits als V8 laufen, sprich neu installiert wurden...
