Umlaute im Passwort

Hallo,

ich teste gerade ein Astaro Web Gateway.
Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die User gegen das ActiveDirectory nicht authentifzieren lassen, wenn im Passwort Umlaute enthalten sind. [:S]

Ist das "normal"

    Hallo,

    Habe heute das gleiche Problem mit LDAP gegen eDir.
    Der Benutzer hat ein 'ü' im Passwort und kommt nicht ins Internet.
    Passwort geändert, Internet funktioniert.
    Wo muss ich suchen ?

    Firmware version: 7.501

    Hallo,
    das Problem mit Umlauten im Passwort und AD Authentifizierung ist auch in 7.507 noch existent. Gibt es hierzu eine Lösung?

    (I apologize for writing in English, but I can't get my brain to create in German at the moment.)

    Dirk, this also might be the NTLM issue.  To force authentication via kerberos, in the client's browser, be sure that the browser aims at the FQDN instead of the raw IP address of "Internal (Address)".

    PS If you want to confirm that this might be the problem, look in the 'User authentication daemon' log to see if the failed authentication was attempted with NTLM.
