massive Preiserhöhung bei Sophos UTM ab 1.7.2022 im DACH Raum

Hallo alle speziell in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz

ich möchte nur darauf hinweisen

die Preise für die Sophos UTM sind mit 1.7.2022 im Schnitt um 40% höher als 2021.

Ich habe typische Preise aus der DACH-Preisliste verglichen z.B. die Verlängerung einer Fullguard Subscription um 1 oder 3 Jahre für eine SG115, SG210 oder SG310. Die Preise sind aktuell bereits um ca. 10% höher als im Vorjahr, weil es bereits eine Preiserhöhung am 1.4.2022 gab.

Ich empfehle allen deren Subscription in nächster Zeit abläuft die Verlängerung noch vor dem 1.7.2022 zu bestellen. Wendet euch am besten an eure Sophos Partner wie ihr das vielleicht auch etwas vorziehen könnt.

Check if there is a new pricelist in the sophos partner portal. I don't know how it is in your region, but in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) there is this new pricelist "Sophos Reseller Price List DACH (EUR) - Valid From July 1, 2022" published 05/25/2022.

In the USA, UTM subscription renewal prices are increasing by about 31% according to two quick comparisons. In contrast XGS renewals only increase about 17%.

Interestingly, there are no price increases listed for the software versions in both XGS and UTM. Further research confirms the 31% (UTM) and 17% (XG) price increases on all appliance subscriptions.

We can confirm that! Prices will increase again over 27% for UTM after 30.06.2022. We would accept that for hardware but not for subscriptions - for a product that is only a cash cow without any real feature upgrades. It seems Sophos like to milk the cow at the maximum (seems to be normal if you´re part of a hedge fund)...

Because also the new SFOS will increase in prices it is not only UTM related. It also doesn´t affect virtual/software versions.

Not the best progress to care about prices instead of the products. We´ll see how competitors will react or if there will be just an other price/performance label for Sophos.

We also offer all customers a renewal before 01.07.2022 - thanks Sophos for this additional effort and the volume of sales peak now...
