UTM SG230 Flexi Port Modul

Guten Tag werte Forengemeinde,

wir haben 2 Sophos UTM SG230 Rev. 2 im HA Aktiv/Passive Modus und möchten an beide UTM's um die Flexi Port Module erweitern.

Kann man die Module im laufenden Betrieb einbauen oder müssen hier die UTM ausgeschaltet werden?

    Hallo,

    ich habe an den flexi-port-modulen noch keinen Hinweis auf "hot-plugable" bemerkt (habe aber auch nicht danach gesucht ... weil unnötig mit HA)

    Ich würde den Slave herunterfahren/stromlos machen, das Modul einbauen und neu starten. 

    Wenn HA in sync ist, das Gleiche mit dem Master.

    Hi ,

    Thanks for reaching out to the Community! 

    You would have to schedule a maintenance window to integrate the Flexi Module on your firewalls.

    Follow these steps: 

    1. Power down both firewalls
    2. Install the Flexi Module on both firewalls
    3. Power up Primary firewall
    4. Power up Secondary firewall

    If this is done differently, there’s a high chance that the cluster is in an inconsistent hardware status. This can result in some interface issues.

    After following the steps, you don't see the new interfaces on your firewall; run the following command from the backed. 

    • setitfhw.plx

    This will reset the interface objects, and then the Flexiport module should be visible on GUI.
